marcelus is best described as a neurotic and temperamental individual. he's got a sizable fear of intimacy on all levels, born from a history of being cycled through the mental health system by a mother that projected a considerable amount of herself onto her son. a childhood full of emotional repression seems to have given him a significant amount of anxiety and anger management issues into adulthood that was made no better when turned undead. he's quick to lash out and grab for attention, but when it comes down to it, he's really just a dude who's been given a bad hand trying to be normal. because after all the shit he's had to go through, that's really his main goal underneath the complication. he's got more than one side, and he can be just as equally friendly and affectionate as he can be standoffish and awkward.
